Vin de Pays Chardonnay
Harvested from our best soils, our Chardonnay is the expression of the Haut Layon schist. The colour is clear gold over a nose of white flowers and stone fruits. Well balanced in the mouth it has remarkable freshness, the typical aromas give it character. On the finish there is a touch of fresh hazelnut.
Vin de Pays Sauvignon
A rare bird in our cellar, this very aromatic white is a great success. Our Sauvignon has a clear pale yellow appearance, intense fruity aromas, puntuated with notes of white peach and honeysuckle. In the mouth it is expressive: Fruit, roundness and balance characterise this bottle, to be served with aubergine caviar, for example.
AOC Anjou Blanc
A more fleshy white, made from Chenin Blanc (or Pinot de la Loire), more complex, this Anjou is our only dry white aged in barrel. It appears concentrated, fat and round in the mouth, but never heavy, courtesy of lasting lemon freshness. A balanced Anjou to serve now with fish in a beurre blanc.
AOC Rosé de la Loire
Excellent summer wine, this rosé is an ideal companion for your barbeque or salads. Made from Grolleau (40%), Cabernet (40%), and Gamay (20%). A rosé of intense pink/orange colour, with glints of purple, it reveals an explosion of ripe red fruits on the nose (cherry and raspberry) accompanied by delicate floral notes. On the palate it has remarkable presence, both full and fresh, persistant fruit on the finish.
AOC Cabernet d’Anjou
The Angevine speciality? This is the only semi-sweet rosé recognised by the national institute of Appellations d’Origine Contrôlées! This soft rosé is an essential to share with friends over dishes of cold meats. The Cabernets (Franc and Sauvignon in equal part) used in the blend have been selected before undergoing a maceration of 18 hours and temperature controlled fermentation. A clear salmon pink, this Cabernet has a array of fruit flavours: strawberry, raspberry, and blackcurrant. On the palate it combines richness, lightness and freshness.
The signature wine of our domaine, made from Cabernet Franc. Ou Anjou is vinified exclusively in stainless steel tanks. It is dark ruby in colour with an expressive nose of ripe red and black fruits (cherry, blackcurrant). We find fresh berries with velvety tannins and good length on the palate. A harmonious wine to drink within four years and easy to match with salad, poultry, meat or more original, pike in red wine.
AOC Anjou Villages
A wine rich and complex, our Anjou Villages is an blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Cabernet Franc (40%). The colour is deep with purple glints. The nose is expressive with peony, pepper, ripe red and black fruits. The palate is supple with fine tannins. The developement and finish in the mouth remain on the fruit. A distinguished Anjou, easy to drink in its youth or be kept for 7-10 years.
AOC Coteaux Du Layon
This sweet white, light and elegant will accompany your aperitifs and cocktails. The first selection from the harvest, the straw yellow appearance and aromas of dried fruits, candied fruits and yellow flowers blossom delicately throughout tasting. These light and balanced flavours have a freshness that make this Coteaux du Layon a wine very easy to pair.
AOC Coteaux du Layon Cuvée les Perrières
The parcel « Les Perrières » has been planted on slopes that were originally natural meadow. The potential for this site was discovered during a review by the INAO of the appellation boundaries. The proximity to the river Layon, its exposure and the exceptional shale terroir make this an ideal place to produce quality Coteaux du Layon. During tasting you will taken on a voyage to the West Indies… colour of the burning sun, the nose with exuberant aromas of exotic fruits (pineapple and lychee…) introduce a palate very aromatic, rich and lively finishing with notes of caramelised pears.
AOC Coteaux du Layon Cuvée Prestige
Produced in the best vintages, this exceptional cuvee is for lovers of sweet wines to discover. Our cuvee is full and rich, at the same time fresh and delicate. The aromas evoke ripe fruits, citrus and dried fruit. A remarkably balanced wine, warming but crisp at the same time. An unusual match? An ostrich steak with walnuts. (50 cl bottles)
AOC Crémant de Loire
This is a wine for all festivities. This Crémant is a blanc de blanc (white grapes only) made from Chardonnay. It matures for 24 months « sur lattes » which give this sparkling wine great finesse. Pale yellow with golden glints, this cuvee releases the perfume of white flwers and fresh fruits. A rermarkable lightness and finesse lead to a seductive explosive finale.
Millésime 2017En dégustation, sa belle robe or clair se poursuit sur un nez de fleurs blanches et de fruits à noyaux. Bon équilibre en bouche qui est tenu par une remarquable fraîcheur. Ses arômes plutôt typés lui donne du caractère. En finale apparaît une touche de noisette fraîche.
Millésime 2016 Un blanc plus charnu, plus complexe, cet Anjou est notre seul blanc sec élevé en barrique. Il se révèle concentré, gras et rond en bouche, mais jamais lourd, grâce à une fraîcheur citronnée qui le soutient tout au long de la dégustation. Un Anjou équilibré à servir, dès à présent, sur un poisson au beurre blanc.
Millésime 2017Vin d'été par excellence, ce rosé sera le compagnon idéal de vos barbecues ou de vos salades. D'un rose orangé intense, nuancé de reflets violines, il dévoile au nez, une explosion de fruits rouges mûrs (cerise, framboise) accompagné de délicates notes florales. La bouche est remarquable de présence, ample et fraîche à la fois, la finale...
Cette méthode traditionelle est élaborée à base de chardonnay. Son élevage de deux ans dans nos caves font de cet effervescent un vin aux arômes subtils de fleurs blanches et de noisettes.
